Holy Moly, last time we were here was 2017, and soooo much has happened along the way.
Firstly, this blog is now Opa and Gigis blog. You’ll see life from both of our perspectives, some content may be sensitive to virgin ears when Opa decides to make an entry.
We all managed to survive the COVID demon, and it continues to lurk in the shadows. I believe this thing touched most people I know. However, Opa and Gigi have yet to be grabbed by it.
We now have 3 grandchildren. The last blog entry in 2017 we just had Orion. Now, we have Zoë who is five, and Adam who is two. These two, along with their mom’s had one rocky ride coming into this world, but are now two healthy and happy children with big, big personalities. And Orion, he’s grown into a handsome, kind young man, a blessing to us as well.
Then there’s Georgia. We had a wim and then came home with a puppy. We really don’t know what possessed us at this point in our life, but nevertheless, here she is. She’s a golden doodle/golden lab mix who we thought wouldn’t shed. Boy were we wrong, worse shedding dog ever! She is a very loving puppy, smart, and hyper. Let me introduce Georgia! This is Georgia at 8 weeks.
The past six years have brought much joy and sadness. We managed to take it all and move forward, making us stronger and thankful amid what life throws at us.
Until next time
Opa and Gigi
